How can we help?
Contact support@progresspass.app. Tell us what happened, the device model, iOS version, and Progress Pass version from Settings. Do not send passwords, pairing codes, child media or payment details.
Set up your family
Choose “I’m a parent,” sign in with Apple and create a family. Start or restore a family subscription; an eligible free trial also provides access. Add a child, open Child permissions and read the notice. The purchasing parent confirms guardianship, control of the purchasing Apple Account, and the permission choices in the app. Photos and videos are optional and off by default. No email confirmation is needed for this flow. Install Progress Pass on the child’s device, choose “I’m a child” and enter the parent-issued pairing code. Child Screen Time authorization requires an eligible Apple child account in Family Sharing.
Permission confirmation
We verify the subscription transaction with Apple and save your explicit permission separately for each child. A purchase alone does not give consent. The purchasing parent must complete this step; another invited guardian’s family access is not purchase verification. You can allow media later, stop collection, or delete the child’s data. Existing private-test devices stay paired when their parents complete this flow. Sandbox confirmations are labeled as tests. Older email requests can be completed or replaced with in-app transaction confirmation.
Requests or approvals aren't appearing
Open Progress Pass on both devices with an internet connection and use Settings → Sync now. Check notification permission in Settings. A notification helps you find an update; approvals still appear in the app if notifications are off.
Screen time and pausing
A redemption counts elapsed time, including time while the device is idle. Tap Pause to restore this app's restrictions. If paused offline, unused time returns to the balance after synchronization. Starting or resuming a redemption needs internet access. Each child can redeem on only one device at a time.
Privacy and deletion
Parents can stop collection, turn off future media uploads or delete one child from Settings → Permissions for [child]. Turning media off does not delete existing uploads; parents can remove those from practice review. Parents can change reviewed-media retention or delete their account from Settings → Privacy. Read the confirmation carefully: a sole parent's deletion removes their family; another parent's family retains the children's history. Reconnect and open the app on child devices afterward so they can clear deleted-family data and restrictions.
Practice history
Practice details and media are kept for up to 90 days from the practice request. Reviewed media may expire sooner under your family’s 30-day setting. Available earned minutes stay after practice content expires.
Subscriptions
An active family subscription or trial is required to add children and start new practice. Eligible new subscribers get two weeks free, then US $2.99/month or $24.99/year according to their selected plan; Apple displays local prices. If access expires, existing sessions, earned time, history and privacy/device controls remain available. The family organizer can open Settings → Family subscription to choose a plan or use Restore Purchases. Use Manage Apple subscriptions on that screen to manage or cancel an existing subscription. Apple manages subscription cancellation and refund requests. Account deletion does not automatically cancel a subscription.
